Also known by names such as “wind piano”, “melodyhorn”, “mylodica”, etc. traditional melodicas are wind instruments that are played by blowing into the mouthpiece while pressing the keys. iMelodica for iPad is played by holding down one of 3 wind buttons while touching the keys. Playing melodies and chords sound great with iMelodica, just like an acoustic melodica!
iMelodica for iPad is meant to be played in realtime like an acoustic instrument. iMelodica can be held in 3 different positions to facilitate different playing styles. It can easily be recorded into your computer, iOS device, or any other recording device using the built in headphone output, a compatible audio interface, or by microphone as if it were an acoustic instrument.
