Flipboard for the iPad

Flipboard for the iPad allows you to monitor Facebook and Twitter feeds as though you are reading through a magazine.  This provides a excellent way to quickly review your Twitter and Facebook accounts.  In some ways, it provides a superior experience to the web interfaces provided by either of these services.

Above is the iPaderation twitter feed as it appears in Flipboard.  Links are rendered as a page and any referenced graphics are automatically inserted into the post.

Flipbook also provides a similar interface to Facebook allowing you to read through your friends links and postings.  Gallery postings are also support as seen above.

Flipboard also provides the ability to add new sections from predefined catagories such as “News”, “Business & Finance”, “Tech & Science” including many others.

This app is available in the App Store for free. I’ve added a button below linking directly to the app for your convenience.
