One of my favorite apps for the iPad is a news reader called Pulse. This app has a search feature that allows you to add any RSS feed in seconds. It is easy to navigate through all of your news feeds and it supports hundreds of feeds and articles.
This app really showcases the flexibility of the the iPad user interface. Pulse has a “Text” mode that allows you to eliminate all those annoying ads us bloggers put on our sites to make money.
It also allows you to view the original website format in case you miss the ads and want to go shopping. This also allows you to access blog functionality in case you wish to interact and leave a comment.
This app is well thought out and represents one of the best news readers available on the iPad. Apps like Pulse show the difference between the iPad and the iPhone or iPod Touch. You won’t find this kind of user experience on the smaller devices. If you have an iPad you should have this app.
