App Review: Slate for the iPad

Slate has released a new app for the iPad. This app allows you to access most Slate articles and is a pleasure to read on the iPad. There is nothing ground breaking about this app as far as the interface is concerned.

It does beat using Safari to access Slate and the price is right since it is free.

One annoying aspect of this app is the advertising. The ads come up entirely too often.

I like the integration with the podcasts. All in all this app is worth the download especially if you are already a Slate fan. Give it a whirl.
